I remember Pollux kicking Dwin out of the guild at nearly every TGNV raid for talking some nonsense. I think we managed to escape that blunder without a death thanks to Lostangyl’s Faithful tick and stacks and Lostpilgrim taking aggro and the critical to give Dec a chance to recover. We were all freaking out when the second Siloskor added. Decimater tanked them for us, but accidentally chain pulled them. I think that actually broke the spawn for a while. My fondest memory of DCRU was spawning quest Siloskor on top of the regular random spawn. I think I finally got frustrated and gave up after nearly killing Lil a dozen times only to have victory snatched from my hands by the shaman form heals. Lilinea and I had a 30 minute duel in blackwater Shaman versus my Hunter. All of the DCRU and TGNV people were very special to me. I was Tibalt, Lostpilgrim and Lostangyl’s token melee. I wonder how much money Zatozia and company has costed SOE? Hmmm… I mean, why not? They did that for Everquest and Everquest 2, which have fallen flat on their faces in the wake of the Lich King WoW expansion and other similar MMOs.
If only they expanded the game and pushed advertisements like other companies do (Blizzard, SquareEnix), they would have found themselves quite a gravy train. It is a shame really, as the game is STILL quite good, but the content is non-existent. I do have access to another account, but I don’t think I will be giving SOE money any time soon! I do, however, have my Frontiers disc, as well as the Frontiers beta disc (when I was testing beta before it went live) as a memento. Since this outrage, I have not purchased or played any other SOE/SCEA game. I post here because I played a travelling minstrel, so the story will continue to be told. It never happened, and I felt that after this “say one thing, do another” routine, it was evident that this game was doomed due to the staff that SOE hired. Since then, players on the forums (the strongest of the gaming community members) saw the injustice, saw the lack of content, and realized that me being banned was a martyrdom to the downfall of this once great game. I suppose this is when the shit hit the fan, where most people that rose up and challenged SOE got themselves banned on both my and Marinia’s account. Soon after, she was banned (even though it was not directly on SOE’s website), along with a few of her friends and guildmates. Even after explaining it to them and giving them the source and various references, they refused to unban me.Īfterwards, Marinia (another player and good friend from my server) posted stuff on her private forum exploiting the almost-dictatorship that SOE propagates. I basically used my number pad keys in that when I hit one, it sends that same key command to all accounts. I run all of my characters below from my SK's screen using autofollow and key broadcasting.
If takes some work to get setup, but it pays off. So that you can send commands to EQ instances that are in the background. It takes some getting used to, but I would say get a program that can do key broadcasting.
